Events Program

Janey, along with her business partners, run dynamic, productive and entertaining workshops for adults within the corporate setting. Together they bring a world of creative energy and experience and their program can be custom made for the needs of your business.

Breaking out of the Box

This is a hands on approach using bricks to spark creative thinking and heighten abilities to recognize the ones that block the path to success. Janey uses a unique building challenge to prompt stress free rethinking of the creative processes. The process challenges attitudes and their identities in the workplace. Through the dignified concept of play, we learn about setting our own goals and how we can avoid setting ourselves up to fail. She shows how our prejudices predetermine our actions, and how we can recognize our biased decisions and what we actively can do to overcome the things that make us less productive or  unsuccessful in the workplace.

Building a Better Mouse Trap

This is a hands on workshop that focuses on important business skills in a very innovative way.  Using bricks to plan, illustrate, and rework solutions.  A visible, tangible and playful approach to building a stronger team, improving time management and goal setting skills, sharpening constructive thinking and criticisms, and thinking outside the corporate box, all while being creative and innovative.

Presentations

Janey Red Brick is a very engaging and passionate public speaker.

Bricks, Blocks, and Building

When a toy becomes a hobby.  This informative and entertaining presentation takes a historical look at the toy itself, the company that produces it and the hobby of building.  This presentation is good for both students and adults.  There are many pictures presented, some physical displays and references, as well as facts, ideas, history and humour of the simple toy we all know and love, until we step on one in the middle of the night.
